About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a critical role in matching clients with the right field staff to provide exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign staff to patients based on various factors, including patient preferences, staff availability, and skill sets
  • Build and manage care schedules for patients
  • Enter and update employee and patient data in our computerized system
  • Respond to calls and electronic communication from funders, staff, patients, and families in a professional and courteous manner
  • Document and report all staff and patient interactions

Requirements

  • One year of administrative or office experience is an asset
  • Scheduling experience is an asset
  • Strong computer skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Compassion and empathy when interacting with patients and their families
