Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a critical role in matching clients with the right field staff to provide exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign staff to patients based on various factors, including patient preferences, staff availability, and skill sets.
  • Build and manage care schedules for patients, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Enter and update patient and staff data in our computerized system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to calls and electronic communications from funders, staff, patients, and families.
  • Document and report all staff and patient interactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • One year of administrative or office experience is an asset.
  • Scheduling experience is an asset.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
  • Superior customer service skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion when interacting with patients and their families.
