Senior Nurse Practitioner

About the Role: Staff on Call is seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a beautiful Long-Term Care/Assisted Living Facility in Vancouver Island.
Contract Details: The contract will last for 3-6 months, with the possibility of shorter or longer terms. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $45.00, including travel allowance, accommodation, and weekly allowance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments to ensure the highest standard of care for residents.
- Plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to residents, including administering oral and subcutaneous medications according to pharmaceutical policies and procedures.
- Directly supervise care staff to meet resident needs and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
- Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Prior experience in Dementia care is preferred but not required.
