Job SummaryThis position requires a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Vancouver General Hospital. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient assessments, initiating treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnosing diseases, disorders, and conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and health management strategies
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of healthcare policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- 4 years of recent and relevant clinical nursing experience
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
