About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Manager to join our Commercial Marketing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering commercial and consumer performance within an assigned geographical area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your territory to deliver volume and market share targets that contribute to achieving national, regional, and district-level objectives.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience by leveraging digital tools and assets to maintain strong business relationships with retailers and staff.
- Generate and maintain market demand of our multi-category products by ensuring adequate inventory levels, attaining distribution targets, reducing out-of-stock situations, merchandising effectively, and ensuring a competitive price for the entire product and brand portfolios.
- Collaborate on special projects at the provincial and national levels with your team of Territory Managers.
- Drive performance in a highly regulated market.
Requirements
- 1-3 years' relevant work experience in a marketing-focused role.
- Previous experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or a global organization.
- Strong extra-curricular participation record.
Desired Skills
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business insights, strategic approach, and account management capabilities.
- Energetic, driven, and autonomous.
- Facility with digital tools and ability to interpret commercial data, identify business opportunities, and put plans into action.
- Ability to focus on a long-term objective, while capitalizing on short-term opportunities.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Hold a valid driver's license in any one of Canada's provinces or territories.
- Possess the current legal right to work in Canada.
- Bilingual (French and English) - Knowledge of English is required due to the role's interactions with customers and suppliers across Canada and globally.
