Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated User Support Technician to join our team at GN IT & Management Solutions Inc.

Job Summary:

The User Support Technician will provide technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, applications, and software. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to users via phone, email, or in-person
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
  • Team player with excellent oral communication skills
