About Us

Commissionaires Nova Scotia (CNS) is a not-for-profit organization providing security, safety, training, and identification services in Atlantic Canada. Our mission is to provide meaningful employment opportunities for veterans and their families, as well as others who contribute to the security and well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to our management team
  • Assist in assessing and mitigating organizational risks
  • Oversee budgeting and reconciliation processes
  • Maintain Division policies and bylaws
  • Support business development through community connections
Requirements

We are looking for individuals with 10+ years of leadership experience in the military, police, or private sector. A relevant university degree or equivalent is required, along with experience in strategic planning, finance, accounting, and/or board governance.

What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This role provides an opportunity to make a positive impact in our community while developing your professional skills.
