Job Overview

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee at EMCO Corporation, you will embark on a comprehensive 5-phase program designed to equip you with in-depth knowledge of our business operations. This includes shipping and receiving, sales, operations, purchasing, account management, and more.

Phase 1: Warehouse Logistics

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the products we sell, from vendor to customer, and develop expertise in sales support.

Phase 2: Operations

  • Participate in customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory control, pricing, credit management, financial statements, and other key aspects of our operations.

Phase 3: Inside Sales/Project Management

  • Evolve from assisting customers with product and service issues to managing large-scale projects.

Phase 4: Outside Sales/Account Management

  • Learn to identify new business opportunities, sell our products, negotiate contracts, and build strong relationships with customers and vendors.

Phase 5: Career Development

  • Utilize your training to determine your ideal career path within EMCO Corporation.

Requirements

  • College or University degree
  • Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
  • Desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent communication skills for building strong relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
