Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in compensation and benefits to lead our payroll team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of payroll regulations and processes, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in full-cycle payroll, with a post-secondary education in a relevant field. Proficiency in relevant payroll software and advanced computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office, are also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and supervise the payroll function and related services to ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Coordinate, direct, and control payroll preparation, processing, and distribution.
  • Administer the Division's pension and benefits programs.
  • Establish and maintain a working environment that is respectful of workforce diversity.
  • Provide direction and coordinate activities for payroll and benefits employees.
Benefits

Pembina Trails School Division offers a competitive salary range of $75,182 - $98,195, depending on qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including pension and health benefits, the successful candidate will enjoy a dynamic and supportive work environment.
