The Johnston Group Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits Administrator to join our team in Winnipeg, MB.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an individual who can effectively manage certificate changes, terminations, and salary adjustments for Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process certificate changes, survivor benefits, employee terminations, and salary changes for eligibility
  • Distribute incoming emails, faxes, and mail within the Administration Services department
  • Respond to general inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
  • Set up and forward non-guaranteed and late change requests to the Underwriting department
  • Assist Plan Administrators in completing online enrolment processes

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Previous experience with group benefit plan administration and claims is considered an asset

Working Conditions:

This role will be a hybrid working model based out of our Winnipeg, MB offices only, with an assigned shift of 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
