About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at Everest People. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in food safety and compliance, looking to take on a new challenge.
As a trusted advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operational activities meet the highest standards of quality, environmental and food safety control requirements. Your focus will be on maintaining compliance across production, warehouse and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality, environmental and food safety control requirements across production, warehouse and logistics operations.
- Conduct internal audits and checks, working closely with the team to identify risks and resolve non-conformance concerns.
- Provide guidance and support to all areas of the business, ensuring key documentation remains current and relevant.
- Respond to customer compliance inquiries.
Skillset:
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in quality control within a food environment, preferably in the meat industry or chilled food sector.
- A strong understanding of regulatory standards and requirements, including HACCP, RMP and OMARs.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, planning and organisational abilities to adapt to business needs.
Salary: NZD $90,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
