About the Role

Prairie Donair is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.

Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules

Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required

Estimate the ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.

Hire and Train Food Service Staff

Hire and train food service staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.

Ensure Quality Control Standards

Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality food and service.

Address Customer Complaints

Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.

Prepare Food Order Summaries

Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete.

Establish Work Schedules

Establish work schedules, ensuring that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Setting

Willing to relocate and work in a fast-paced food service environment.
