About the Role

Prairie Donair is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that they have a positive experience at Prairie Donair.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency in all aspects of our food service operations.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Recruitment: Hire food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team in place.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate, with relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
