Operations
  • Implement and enforce visual compliance standards, store maintenance, and pricing standards.
  • Lead the execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Drive annual corporate shrink targets through team education, enforcement of loss prevention, and audit standards.
  • Ensure processes and systems are followed for the execution of tech shop service programs, including maintenance and compliance standards.
  • Create efficient store weekly scheduling for sales and support functions.
Training and Development
  • Provide continuous feedback and coaching to management and team members based on key metrics and observed behaviors.
  • Create development plans for staff, support and coach to improve performance gaps, and conduct ongoing coaching to improve team performance.
Leadership
  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting Sport Chek stores, programs, brands, and people internally and externally.
  • Effectively problem-solve, delegate, and follow up on tasks assigned to team members.
  • Maintain Sport Chek performance management expectations, including feedback, coaching, and progressive discipline where necessary.
  • Promote and maintain a positive and motivating work environment.
