The Canadian Association of Pathologists invites applications for the position of Division Head of Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
The successful candidate will provide leadership for the Division of Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology, working collaboratively with all stakeholders, including laboratory technical, administrative, and medical/scientific staff, clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
The ideal candidate will have progressive leadership experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with a diverse range of individuals and teams.
Additional responsibilities include participating in the Anatomical Pathology service, contributing to the academic mission of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and working closely with the Medical Head of the Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association (EORLA) and the Department Head of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine within the EORLA member hospitals.
The candidate must hold a MD degree, be licensed or eligible for licensure in the province of Ontario, and be a fellow in Anatomical Pathology/Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada or an equivalent body.
