Support Services Team Lead

Job Summary:
The Support Services Team Lead is a key member of the Mon Sheong Foundation team, responsible for overseeing the Environmental Services department. This role requires a strong leader who can monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislations and standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational plans to achieve Program and Services goals and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance staff, providing coaching and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of supplies and equipment.
- Participate in the Joint Health and Safety Committee, Emergency Plan, and Fire Prevention Programs.
- Ensure adherence to Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) protocols and practices, including cleaning, laundry, and linen handling procedures.
- Monitor employee productivity and implement processes to improve service delivery.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in housekeeping, laundry, waste management, and maintenance.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Experience with IPAC protocols and practices relevant to Environmental Services.
- Experience working with service providers is an asset.
