Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Barburrito. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality of service in our fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 3-4 staff members who prepare and portion food.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
    • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
    • Client focus and team player.
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where no two days are the same. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout your shift.
