Job Summary:

The Support Services Team Lead - Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the Environmental Services department at Mon Sheong Foundation. This role involves monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance operations to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents, family members, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate Environmental Services to ensure compliance with relevant legislations, standards, and guidelines.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the effectiveness of operational activities within housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance departments.
  • Ensure adherence to proper Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) protocol and practices.
  • Collaborate with service providers to manage budgets, purchases, and inventory.
  • Participate in the Joint Health and Safety Committee, Emergency Plan, and Fire Prevention Programs.
  • Monitor employee productivity and implement processes for increased service or productivity.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based or prevailing practices relating to housekeeping, laundry, waste management, and maintenance.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Experience with Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) protocol relevant to Environmental Services.
  • Experience in working with service providers is an asset.
