Job Summary

The Technical Supervisor is responsible for leading floor operations with a focus on customer service, staff leadership, and development. This role oversees the technical team to ensure operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and break down intermediate audiovisual equipment accurately and on time.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
  • Ensure equipment security and compliance with company measures.
  • Lead the team in proper equipment maintenance, storage, and transportation.

Customer Service

  • Provide exceptional service and strive to exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication.
  • Meet with guests to ensure their needs are met and equipment is working properly.

Training and Development

  • Assist in training technicians on floor activities and hotel/ENCORE service expectations.
  • Serve as a mentor for new hires.
  • Model a positive working environment centered around company values.

Operations Management

  • Organize daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh, and removal of equipment.
  • Perform daily floor management, directing the workflow of technicians and assisting management with labor needs and scheduling.
  • Ensure equipment sheets are updated and properly completed.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • ENCORE Technical Level 3 Certification required.
  • 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of audiovisual experience required.
  • Knowledge of technical theory and advanced problem-solving skills.
