Job Title: Janitor Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Janitor Supervisor to join our team at RJS Building Maintenance Ltd./ RJS Carpet Cleaning. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that our facilities meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services, ensuring that we are providing value to our clients while maintaining profitability.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of work activities and effective communication with clients.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the cleaning industry
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability
Work Environment:
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate, cleaning service company, various locations
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week
