- Manage and settle residential claims in accordance with operational standards, balancing the needs of the client and the insurer.
- Conduct on-site inspections, scoping damages and assigning contractors or suppliers as required.
- Analyze information gathered to determine coverage and make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with internal and external colleagues to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and accreditation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Thorough knowledge of home insurance policy coverage and claims adjudication.
- Experience in handling structural building damage claims and residential construction procedures.
- Proficiency in both French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and professional demeanor.
- Valid AMF claims adjuster license and a clear Drivers Abstract.
