Business System Configuration Development Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business System Configuration Development Analyst to join our team at Comtech Group Inc. This role will involve the configuration and customization of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) to align with organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and customize PMIS applications, including Kahua, Oracle Unifier, P6, ProjectWise, SharePoint, InEight, and/or EcoSys, to meet business needs.
  • Implement system modifications and enhancements based on project specifications and user feedback.
  • Utilize APIs, middleware, and other integration tools to connect PMIS with ERP and other enterprise systems.
  • Develop and maintain reports and custom prints or forms using Oracle BI, Excel, and Word.
  • Design and develop Windows forms applications using Asp.Net, C# Programming Languages, Web Services, Oracle BI Reports, Oracle database, etc.
  • Produce, manage, modify, and schedule quality reports using Oracle BI Publisher.
  • Provide timely and robust end-user support, including logging, tracking, and resolving bugs and errors.
  • Work extensively on Web forms and data binding controls, mapping page fields to database fields.
  • Implement web services to integrate applicable systems using WCF and consumed and published XML Web services in the application.
  • Write and maintain complex SQL Queries and the required stored procedures and triggers.
  • Participate in the full life cycle of the engagement from requirements-gathering to transition using Agile Methodology.
  • Create new content and bug fixes for software applications.
  • Conduct business analysis at varying levels of detail, appropriate to the phases of the project.
  • Collaborate with the data architecture and technical development team to ensure that the creation of an efficient technical solution meets all functional business needs.
  • Perform requirement elicitation to document the business requirements and work with the development team to identify alternative technology and solutions.
  • Support data integrity across the data presentation layer.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for the application.
  • Perform and support product testing life cycle to ensure the quality is maintained and that acceptance criteria of the provided solution are met.
  • Maintain documentation for new and existing features and integrations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in PMIS Application, Implementation and Configuration.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Licenses OR Certifications: Holding recognized Project Management certification (CAPM).
  • Skills and Competencies: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, previous experience with programming skills in.Net, well experienced in SQL, PL or SQL, Java, and modern languages like Python, R, Web services, REST, SOAP, JSON.
