Key Responsibilities
  • (Internal Title: Business System Configuration Development I)
    • Support the configuration and customization of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS), such as Kahua, Oracle Unifier, P6, ProjectWise, SharePoint, InEight, and/or EcoSys, to meet organizational needs.
    • Implement system updates and enhancements based on project requirements and user input within these platforms.
    • Utilize APIs, middleware, and other integration tools to link PMIS with ERP and other enterprise systems.
    • Assist in maintaining reports and custom prints or forms using tools like Oracle BI, Excel, and Word.
    • Develop Windows forms applications utilizing Asp.Net, C#, Web Services, Oracle BI Reports, Oracle database, etc.
    • Produce, manage, modify, and schedule quality reports using Oracle BI Publisher.
    • Provide prompt and effective end-user support, including logging, tracking, and resolving issues.
    • Work extensively on Web forms and data binding controls, mapping page fields to database fields.
    • Employ SOA over HTTP to implement web services for system integration using WCF and manage XML Web services.
    • Write and maintain complex SQL Queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
    • Engage in the complete life cycle of the project from requirements gathering to transition using Agile Methodology.
    • Create new content and address software application bugs.
    • Conduct business analysis at various levels of detail appropriate to project phases.
    • Collaborate with data architecture and technical development teams to ensure efficient technical solutions meet all functional business requirements.
    • Perform requirement elicitation to document business needs and work with the development team to identify alternative technologies and solutions.
    • Support data integrity across the data presentation layer.
    • Provide technical support and maintenance for applications.
    • Conduct and support product testing life cycles to ensure quality and adherence to acceptance criteria.
    • Maintain documentation for new and existing features and integrations.

Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • At least 1 year of experience in PMIS Application, Implementation, and Configuration.
    • Prior experience or internships in system configuration, IT support, or project management is desirable but not mandatory.
    • Note: PMIS-specific training will be provided based on the candidate's existing knowledge and experience.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Coursework or certification in Project Management, Systems Integration, or related areas is advantageous.
  • Licenses or Certifications:
    • Possession of recognized Project Management certification (CAPM).
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Experience with programming in .Net, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and modern languages like Python, R, Web services, REST, SOAP, JSON.
    • Familiarity with Primavera Unifier, Primavera P6 Kahua, and/or EcoSys is a strong asset.
    • Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including MS Power Apps, is a strong asset.
    • Understanding of database management, APIs, and system integration principles.
    • Knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC) and integration methodologies.
    • Able to analyze user requirements and translate them into technical configurations and integration solutions.
    • Capable of prioritizing tasks and escalating competing risks to meet deadlines with minimal input from leadership.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies, particularly in PMIS and enterprise system integration.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal).
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
