Position Overview

Location: Toronto, ON CA (Primary)

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal Title: Business System Configuration Development I
    • Support the customization and configuration of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) such as Kahua, Oracle Unifier, P6, ProjectWise, SharePoint, InEight, and EcoSys to meet organizational needs.
    • Implement enhancements and modifications based on user feedback and project requirements.
    • Utilize integration tools, APIs, and middleware to connect PMIS with ERP and other enterprise systems.
    • Maintain and develop reports and custom forms using tools like Oracle BI, Excel, and Word.
    • Create Windows forms applications utilizing Asp.Net, C#, Web Services, and Oracle database technologies.
    • Manage and produce quality reports through Oracle BI Publisher.
    • Provide comprehensive end-user support, including tracking and resolving technical issues.
    • Engage in extensive work with web forms and data binding controls, ensuring proper mapping of fields.
    • Implement web services for system integration using SOA over HTTP and WCF.
    • Write and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
    • Participate in the complete project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to transition, employing Agile methodologies.
    • Develop new content and address software application bugs.
    • Conduct business analysis at various project phases.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure efficient solutions that meet business requirements.
    • Document business requirements and work with development teams to explore alternative technologies.
    • Support data integrity across presentation layers.
    • Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for applications.
    • Oversee product testing to ensure quality and compliance with acceptance criteria.
    • Maintain documentation for new and existing features.

Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • At least 1 year of experience in PMIS application, implementation, and configuration.
    • Prior experience or internships in system configuration, IT support, or project management is beneficial.
    • Note: PMIS-specific training will be provided based on the candidate's existing knowledge.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Coursework or certification in Project Management or Systems Integration is advantageous.
  • Certifications:
    • Possession of recognized Project Management certification (CAPM) is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Programming experience in .Net, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and modern languages such as Python and R.
    • Familiarity with Primavera Unifier, Primavera P6, Kahua, and EcoSys is a strong asset.
    • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly MS Power Apps, is advantageous.
    • Understanding of database management, APIs, and system integration principles.
    • Knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC) and integration methodologies.
    • Aptitude for analyzing user requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing risks effectively.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
