Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Det'on Cho Bouwa Whee Catering LP. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
