Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Manager to join our team at Opal Corporate Connections. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and soliciting sales prospects, resolving accounting and claims issues, and enhancing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and solicit sales prospects through cold calls, mailings, and phone contact
  • Solicit referrals from existing accounts
  • Assist in resolving accounting and claims issues
  • Enhance client relationships and support office personnel
  • Coordinate timely presentations for new and renewal business
  • Assist in marketing accounts with a balanced mix of relationship development and product expertise
  • Meet and track monthly new business premium goals
  • Acquire all necessary information for quality new business submissions
  • Be available for communication with marketing department, underwriter, and loss control staff

Requirements:

  • Over 4 years of commercial account management experience in a bank
  • Experience working in the Toronto territory
  • A track record of business development for financing and credit
  • French language is an asset
