About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Relationship Manager to join our team at Prospera Credit Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our valued members, providing expert financial advice and guidance to help them achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Understand Member Needs: Proficiently assess members' financial objectives, risk tolerance, and unique needs to provide tailored advice and create holistic financial strategies.
  • Develop and Execute Financial Plans: Effectively create and implement financial plans that encompass investment, lending, protection, and day-to-day banking, ensuring members' financial needs are met.
  • Facilitate Referrals and Transitions: Facilitate referrals to trusted partners and ensure a smooth transition of members, maintaining trust and building strong relationships.
  • Grow and Retain Member Relationships: Responsible for retention and growth of our segment of highest value members across all lines of business.
  • Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of member interactions, advice, and transactions, adhering to internal policy, regulatory compliance, and ethical standards.
Requirements
  • Financial Services Experience: At least 3 years or more working in financial services with at least 1 year in an advisory capacity.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven previous experience with mortgage lending and selling mutual funds.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Mutual funds licensed.
  • Financial Acumen: Demonstrated financial acumen and knowledge of financial products and services.
  • Professional Sales Environment: Previous experience in a professional financial advisory sales environment.
