Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Aquatics and Family Programs department. As the Asset Management Director, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the pool, providing leadership to program excellence, and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement aquatics programs that meet the needs of our members and community.
  • Manage departmental budget and ensure fiscal accountability.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with YMCA regulations and standards.
  • Provide leadership to children and youth programs, ensuring quality and variety of choices for families.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and members, representing the YMCA in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Recreation Leadership, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or related field.
  • WHMIS training and Pool Operator's certification preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages an asset.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Experience and sensitivity in dealing with diverse stakeholders.
  • Focus on the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children, youth, and vulnerable people in YMCA programs.
