Job Overview

The successful candidate will have excellent skills in furniture repair and restoration, including the ability to replace worn-out webbing, springs, and other furniture parts. You will also be responsible for laying out, cutting, fabricating, and installing upholstery, as well as tack, glue, or sew ornamental trim, braids, or buttons.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and restore furniture frames and refinish wood surfaces to their original condition.
  • Operate sewing machines or sew by hand to create new upholstery.
  • Lay out, cut, and fabricate new upholstery materials.
  • Tack, glue, or sew ornamental trim, braids, or buttons to add decorative touches to furniture pieces.
  • Garnish the bottom and back of seats with interwoven rattan.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train provided.
Work Arrangements
  • Permanent position available.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Work language: English.
Compensation Package
