Job Title: Early Childhood Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Care Specialist to join our team at Central City Junior Kindergarten Ltd.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and caring individual to work with children in a fast-paced environment. As an Early Childhood Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to infants and toddlers, while promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Assisting early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Leading activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
  • Ordering supplies and equipment
  • Assisting early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
  • Engaging children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Guiding and assisting children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisor
  • Submitting written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
Credentials and Skills:
  • Earned Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and guidelines for behavior
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, interpersonal awareness, judgement, reliability, and teamwork
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and market conditions.

Work Conditions:

This role requires standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and manual dexterity. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide attention to detail is essential.
