We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Consultant to join our team at Global HR. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting job notices, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
Key Responsibilities- Staffing Requirements
- Identify current and prospective staffing needs to ensure optimal workforce planning
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Recruitment Process
- Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract qualified candidates
- Screen and shortlist applicants based on job requirements and qualifications
- Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
- Candidate Management
- Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
- Support for Diverse Groups
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities
- Education
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
This is a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and may be required to work flexible hours to meet business needs.
