Landscaping Manager

Mirage Landscaping Incorporated is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our landscaping crew, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead and manage a team of 3-4 people, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
- Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement plans for grounds maintenance, including lawn care, pruning, and other tasks.
- Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Oversee the construction of landscapes, including the installation of plants, hardscapes, and other features.
- Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Source and procure the necessary materials, equipment, and supplies for landscaping projects.
- Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Create and implement schedules and procedures to ensure efficient workflow and minimize downtime.
- Clean Snow and Ice from Walkways and Parking Areas: Maintain a safe and accessible work environment by clearing snow and ice.
- Perform Same Duties as Workers Supervised: Demonstrate a willingness to roll up your sleeves and contribute to the team's efforts when needed.
- Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's license and be willing to use a company vehicle.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Initiative: Show a proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
- Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
