Key Responsibilities:- Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of 3-4 people and ensure they have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties.
- Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement plans for maintaining our clients' outdoor spaces, including lawn care, pruning, and planting.
- Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Oversee the construction of new landscapes, including hardscaping, irrigation systems, and other outdoor features.
- Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Source and procure the necessary materials and equipment for our landscaping projects.
- Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance to staff to ensure high-quality work and efficient operations.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement schedules and procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Clean Snow and Ice from Walkways and Parking Areas: Ensure safe access to our clients' properties during winter months.
- Perform Same Duties as Workers Supervised: Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and assist with tasks as needed.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Work Site Environment: Outdoor work in various weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
- Work Setting: Urban area with various locations.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license and vehicle supplied by employer.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, initiative, team player.
- Health Benefits: Health care plan.

- Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
