About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bilingual Credit and Collection Specialist to join our team at Vaco. As a key member of our credit and collection department, you will be responsible for the processing of all credit applications and binding legal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, thoroughness, and compliance.

You will mitigate risk by performing critical and careful document examination of signatories, confirmation of ownership, and director positions along with corporate profile details. Additionally, you will proactively monitor the pending expiry of registered security documents to ensure that renewals take place prior to expiry.

You will liaise with sales and customers to expediently resolve deficiencies in documentation, obtain required credit and legal information, and communicate credit decisions and/or the status of credit applications. Your primary responsibility will be the overall integrity and day-to-day administration and maintenance of K&F's Customer Master File.

As a Senior Bilingual Credit and Collection Specialist, you will have the ability to collect balances due and understand the unique issues and sensitivities relative to assigned accounts. Other duties as required.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with 7-10 years of relevant collection experience in a high-volume department. Experience working in a privately owned organization would be an asset.

You must be fluent in French and English, both verbally and in writing. You must be able to work autonomously and have effective and persuasive collection and negotiation skills. You must possess excellent organization, reconciliation, and analytical skills.

You should have a proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to resolve customers' concerns, are essential. Confidence and tact in dealing with business owners and Sales team are also required. Intermediate skills in MS Excel and Word are necessary.
