Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications accurately and safely, observing patient response and documenting in the medical record.
  • Perform delegated independent nursing functions using established procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards.
  • Assist patients and family members with concern and empathy, respecting their confidentiality and privacy.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care or assisted living environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs).
