Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

CapitalCare is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Health Care Aides in performing daily living activities and restricted activities.
  • Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Lead and sustain change by building relationships and trust with the Health Care Aide team.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a Practical Nurse program leading to a license by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
  • Active registration with the CLPNA.
  • Minimum of 2 years' nursing experience preferred.
  • Computer experience required for accessing and updating electronic information systems.
Personal Competencies:
  • Awareness of accident and injury prevention, safe work practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of nursing clinical best practice standards, protocols, and continued competence and practice standards.
