Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Excel Resource Society.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a school or educational institution setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients in a school or educational institution setting
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check
