Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a school or educational institution setting. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering excellent care and support to students and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to students and staff in a school or educational institution setting.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work.
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
Work Environment:
