Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

CapitalCare is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Health Care Aides
  • Assess and address the needs of residents and their families
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Perform routine activities of daily living (ADLs) and restricted activities as required
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a Practical Nurse program leading to a license by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Active registration with the CLPNA
  • Minimum of 2 years' nursing experience
  • Computer experience with electronic information systems
Personal Competencies:
  • Knowledge of nursing clinical best practice standards and protocols
  • Basic nursing care practices and scope of practice as defined by CLPNA
  • Continued competence and practice standards
  • Awareness of accident and injury prevention and safe work practices
Salary Range:

$27.85 - $36.13 per hour as per the AUPE AN Collective Agreement
