Financial Director

As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and strategic alignment of all financial activities across our business units.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with Business Unit leaders and the SVP, Finance on critical strategic initiatives.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Provide proactive, data-driven financial insights to bolster strategic decision-making and guide business unit/corporate strategy.
- Leadership: Mentor and coach the Finance team to excel, driving a culture of continuous growth, learning, and professional development.
- KPIs: Define and track key performance indicators to measure operational effectiveness, financial health, and progress toward strategic goals.
- Financial Insights: Work closely with Finance and Operations leaders to unlock valuable insights into the connections between KPIs, revenues, cost drivers, and broader financial performance.
- Financial Accuracy: Accountable for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of Jones Healthcare Group accounting records and addressing unusual or material variances.
- Financial Results: Deliver robust financial results, plans, budgets, and forecasts for business units, ensuring alignment with corporate and business unit objectives.
- Reporting: Oversee accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on departmental & Business Unit performance and expenses, proactively identifying areas of concern and potential improvements.
- Cash Flow & Capital Management: Accountable for overseeing cash flow, banking, and working capital activities.
- Audits & Compliance: Oversee the accurate and timely completion of audits and filing of corporate tax returns, maintaining strict adherence to legal and regulatory compliance standards.
- Capital Investment: Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information included in capital investment requests, including return on investment calculations and validation of financial assumptions.
- Asset Management: Manage and safeguard divisional/corporate assets.
You bring a minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership position and experience in the manufacturing sector. You should be highly organized and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to manage changing priorities and deadlines. You master the ability to turn financial data into actionable insights and strategies.
