Financial Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team at Taxsmart. As a Financial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and manage a team of financial staff to ensure the smooth operation of financial functions.
- Evaluate daily financial operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
- Identify and investigate compliance issues and ensure that all financial transactions are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Motivate and train staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure that the company's financial goals are met.
- Plan and organize daily financial operations to ensure that all financial tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure that financial operations are conducted in a transparent and accountable manner.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports and ensure that they are accurate and timely.
- Advise senior management on financial matters and provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure that all payroll-related tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- 5-10 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a consulting firm, business services, or accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
- Ability to motivate and train staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
