Job Description for Sales Supervisor at Silver Time

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team at Silver Time. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales team and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop the skills of our sales team members to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to provide excellent customer service.
  • Authorize Payments: Verify and authorize payments by cheque to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Order Merchandise: Place orders for merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize overtime.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional customer service and sell merchandise to meet sales targets.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, resolve supply shortages, and ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels and organize stock to ensure efficient restocking and minimize waste.
  • Manage Cash: Handle cash transactions, manage cash flow, and maintain accurate records.
  • Oversee Payroll: Manage payroll administration, including processing payrolls and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a sales or retail environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
