Cogir Immobilier is seeking an experienced Sous-Chef to join our dynamic team at Les Jardins Du Couvent residence. As a valued member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in creating delicious and nutritious meals for our senior residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assemble plates of food that meet the expected level of quality and appeal to our residents' diverse tastes
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
  • Collaborate with the chef and kitchen staff to ensure seamless teamwork and efficient meal preparation
  • Create menus that showcase your culinary creativity and expertise while respecting our budget and standards

Requirements:

  • MAPAQ training certification and DEP in institutional cuisine or equivalent
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in high-volume food service environments
  • Basic computer skills and ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and residents
