We are seeking an experienced Senior Immunology Director to join our team at Charles River Laboratories. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about advancing drug development and improving human health.

Job Summary

The Senior Immunology Director will oversee a team of scientists responsible for conducting immunology laboratory studies in various disciplines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with study directors and quality assurance programs to ensure efficient organization of work and maximize team performance
  • Supervising, mentoring, and managing a team of immunology scientists
  • Preparing, reviewing, and approving study schedules and plans for immunology studies
  • Designing and validating cell-based and flow cytometry assays
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Immunology or a related scientific field and at least 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 7 years in a scientific position related to immunology. Strong experience in flow cytometry, including multi-color panel design and cell-based assays, is essential. Excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as problem-solving and analytical abilities, are also required.
