The Role

The Director of Total Rewards is a key member of our HR team, responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive compensation strategies that align with our business goals and objectives. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement compensation strategies that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business goals.
  • Design and manage compensation programs, including salary bands, annual merit increases, bonus programs, and executive compensation packages.
  • Conduct analysis and benchmarking of compensation data to maintain competitiveness and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure all compensation practices comply with federal and local laws and regulations.
  • Lead job evaluation processes, including job analysis, job descriptions, and job grading.
  • Develop and manage the compensation budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Integrate compensation programs with performance management systems to ensure a strong link between pay and performance.
  • Develop and deliver communication strategies to ensure employees understand our compensation philosophy and programs.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management and HR partners on compensation matters, trends, and policy recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant certification (CCP) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in compensation management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and expertise in data and financial modeling and scenario planning.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to coordinate input from multiple sources to develop impactful recommendations.
