Director, Data Governance, CDAO, Marketing

Job Summary:

The Bank of Montreal is seeking a highly skilled Director to lead its Enterprise Marketing team in harnessing the power of data and leveraging data and Advanced Analytics/AI capabilities to create actionable insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with privacy regulations in Canada and the US when communicating with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the bank's enterprise Business lead responsible for understanding the use of personal information across the Marketing ecosystem.
  • Implement and maintain solutions that comply with Privacy Regulations in Canada and the US.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts on regulations to build a strategy for delivering best-in-class customer-centric compliant solutions.
  • Work closely with the Chief Privacy Officer, LOBs, First Line, Compliance, and T&O partners to gather requirements and articulate cost/benefits.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise privacy strategic solutions and operational processes across all LOBs in Canada and the US.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of data governance and privacy regulations in Canada and the US.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining solutions that comply with Privacy Regulations.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate cost/benefits and drive business decisions.
