Job Summary

The Enterprise Marketing team at BMO Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Director to lead the development and implementation of data governance strategies that ensure compliance with privacy regulations in Canada and the US. This role will drive the creation of actionable insights to support Marketing and LOB partners in delivering personalized communications to customers across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data governance strategies that align with BMO's business objectives and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, including the Chief Privacy Officer and Privacy Office, to build a strategy for delivering best-in-class, customer-centric compliant solutions
  • Work closely with LOBs, First Line, Compliance, and T&O partners to gather requirements and articulate cost/benefits to drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of Enterprise privacy strategic solutions and operational processes
  • Act as the bank's enterprise Business lead responsible for understanding the use of personal information across the Marketing ecosystem

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of data governance and privacy regulations in Canada and the US
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to drive business outcomes and lead cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with Marketing and LOB partners to deliver personalized communications
