Job Title: Data Platforms Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Platforms Architect to join our team at Canadian Tire Corporation. As a key member of our Data Platforms team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient data platforms that support our business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data platforms that meet business requirements and ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data architecture roadmaps and technical designs.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members on data platforms and architecture.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data platforms and architecture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data platforms, analytics, and integration technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data systems architecture, including databases, data engineering, data movement, and data visualizations.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Azure, and data governance technologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Continuous learning mindset, with a focus on customer satisfaction and prioritization of work.
