Salary: $48,000 per year
Job Description
The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Controller to maintain disbursement goals and general A/P performance levels
- Preparing and filling out payments to third parties
- Auditing purchase requests and verifying orders
- Posting A/P data and company payments to general ledgers
- Reviewing bills for potential errors and discrepancies
- Applying adjustments and corrections to corporate billing records
- Ensuring confidentiality and privacy of financial records
- Developing payment strategies to make timely A/P payments
- Investigating payment problems in accordance with company policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in accounts payable or a related field
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
