Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Holait Bros Transport Ltd. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Requirements:

  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Excellent oral communication
  • Flexibility

Work Environment:

The work environment is physically demanding and requires repetitive tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and have excellent communication skills.
